The services provided by the Wilkes Senior Center include numerous community service and computer classes through an agreement with the Continuing Education Division of Wilkes Community College; a GED program also offered through WCC; access to Medicare information and counseling through SHIIP; numerous recreation and wellness activities including Blue Ridge Senior Games, Silver Striders, exercise equipment, and exercise programs; health promotion and well checks; access to educational materials and referrals to other agencies; day trips and longer excursions; and much more.
